Vince & Jaxn Are Ready For Action This Season

Aragon & Rogers are ready to roll again FOR THE 2022-23 SEASON

Lights. Camera. Action! The season is about ready to roll with the re-signing of #2 Midfielder Vince Aragon and #8 Defender Jaxn Rogers. These rising stars in the Major Arena Soccer League are re-signed for their 2nd season with the New Mexico Runners.

Vince Aragon was one of the most notable Rookies in the 2021-22 MASL2 season. Last season was Aragon's first playing in the league and with the Runners. He quickly took his outdoor soccer skillset and adjusted to the indoor game with ease. Aragon posted 5 goals and 2 assists in the 12 games he played last season. 

Aragon takes his passion for soccer to the community and youth athletes as the Assistant Coach for St. Pius X High School Boys Soccer team where he also graduated from. 

Jaxn Rogers signed on with the New Mexico Runners last season in homecoming fashion. Rogers is a local from Albuquerque, NM with an extensive background in soccer. Rogers moved away to the Midwest when he was 14 and has made his return becoming a fan favorite. Last season he played Defender as well as 6th Attacker scoring 5 goals with 4 assists.

He played for the Springfield Demize (NPSL) in 2018, he was voted 1st Team All-Region and was invited to the MLS Combine. Rogers won a National Arena Title in 2020 with the Demize (MASL3) and National Runner Up in 2021 with the Tulsa Athletic in the NPSL. He has played for the US National Arena Team, playing in CONCACAF qualifiers. Jaxn spent several years with Bradford City in England while completing his degree, where he was the captain of their U23 squad for 3 years. 

Rogers currently is the U11 – U15 Girls Director of Coaching for the Rio Rapids Soccer Club where he works to help youth athletes be the best players they can be on and off the field.

The New Mexico Runners will kick off their fourth season on the road against the Kansas Bandits December 18th. The first home match will take place on Saturday January 7th, 2023 with a 2:05 PM kick-off at the Rio Rancho Events Center (3001 Civic Center Circle Dr. NW, Rio Rancho, NM 87144).
