USA vs Mexico Set to Kick Off on Saturday in Rio Rancho, Rosters Released

Rio Rancho, N.M. (August 23, 2019) – This Saturday August 24th, 2019 will be roaring with US and Mexico soccer fans at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho as US Soccer legend Landon Donovan will lead the way for Team USA against Team Mexico in an International arena soccer friendly. Rosters have been officially released for both Team USA and Team Mexico.

The exciting part of this friendly is that two New Mexico Runners (MASL2) players will be featured on the field and play against each other. MASL2 league MVP and Runners Forward Jaime “Chiva” Rodriguez will play on Team Mexico with Forward Miguel “Miggy” Garcia playing alongside Landon Donovan and Team USA.

New Mexico’s Head Coach Steve Famiglietta will be assisting Team USA in the match where they will also select and suit up a player to play in the game on Saturday from the combine on Friday night at the Santa Ana Star Center.

The USA vs. Mexico International Arena Soccer friendly presented by the New Mexico Runners professional arena soccer team and the Santa Ana Star Center is slated for Saturday August 24th, 2019 at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, NM.
