New Mexico Runners Season 5 Tryouts a Success

Over 30 athletes took the field on Sunday September 24th at the Rio Rancho Events Center for the 5th Season of New Mexico Runners tryouts. Since 2018, the Runners have long sought after quality local players that have talent to showcase. Many athletes that tried out on Sunday were local, but a couple made their trek from across the country to showcase their skills in an attempt to make the New Mexico Runners squad. Athletes that make the cut will be placed in a player pool which will eventually get trimmed down to feature the roster for season 5 in the Major Arena Soccer League 2. Head Coach Steve Famiglietta was able to evaluate many new athletes along with former players who played with the Runners a few seasons ago.
