Runners Look to Pounce the Lions

The New Mexico Runners are on the road again for the second week in a row as they head to Oklahoma City to take on the Certified Lions on Sunday December 22nd at 1 PM CT. This will be the first time that New Mexico (0-1) will see the league newcomer Certified Lions (0-2).

The Runners are coming off a difficult road loss against the Wichita Wings and look to bounce back and pounce on the Lions in OKC. Oklahoma City are currently 0-2 on the season due to a couple of losses to Wichita. 

As the sixth season is underway for the Runners, getting the winning column rolling is the focus this week. This season features several Runners rookies, such as Peter Inserillo, Jordan Maldonado, Asher Saban, CJ Kailey, and Andres Monge. Top veterans to be on the lookout this match are Nick Cashmere, Vince Aragon, Austin Snyder, Jaime Hernandez, Froilan Ramirez, and Nate Yeager. 

The game plan this week is to stay healthy, play well, and get the W which will give the squad the boost of confidence they need for the season.
