Runners Head South for First Road Game

Rio Rancho, NM (January 4, 2019) - The New Mexico Runners head south today to take on the Cuervos of Ciudad Juarez in El Paso, Texas. This road trip marks the first road trip in franchise history.

The contest will take place at the El Paso County Coliseum with a kick off time slated for 4:15 PM. 

Leading the offense is Forward Jaime "Chiva" Rodriguez with 7 goals and 1 assist in two games. Top scoring threats for the Runners include Midfielder Josh Goss (4 goals, 2 assists) and Forward Miguel Garcia (3 goals, 1 assist).  The Runners look to get their first win as they currently sit at 0-2 falling to the Elite and Inferno earlier this season. The Cuervos having played 3 games, are 2-1.

New Mexico has a bye week for the weekend of January 12th and will continue on the road to take on the Santa Fe Elite on Saturday January 19th at 6:00 PM MT.
