RUNNERS GEARING UP FOR SEASON 5 WITH OPEN TRYOUTS

Rio Rancho, NM (September 20, 2023) - The New Mexico Runners are gearing up for their 5th season and are looking for local talent to compete in the Major Arena Soccer League. Tryouts are set for those who are interested in a chance to secure a roster spot on New Mexico’s first Major Arena Soccer League Team in the 2023-24 season.

Due to unforeseen circumstances with the arena logistics, tryouts will be limited to Sunday September 24th, 2023. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

Tryout Date: Sunday September 24th // Check-In: 10 AM, Start 11:00 AM

Interested athletes can register online.  Early bird registration online is $40 and it will be $50 the day of at the door. If you have any questions regarding the tryouts, call the Runners office at 505-663-7786. Must be 18 years or older to participate. USL soccer Hall of Fame Inductee and Head Coach Steve Famiglietta will be overseeing the tryout along with his coaching staff to find some outstanding talent in our community.

The fifth season for the New Mexico Runners will kick off in December and they will play all home games at the Rio Rancho Events Center. Season tickets are now on sale, starting as low as $80 for all home games and can be purchased online. New Mexico’s schedule will be released by the league within the next couple of weeks.
