Runners Announce Season 2 Tryouts

Rio Rancho, NM (October 8, 2019) – Do you think you have what it takes to compete in the Major Arena Soccer League 2? The New Mexico Runners have announced open tryouts ahead of their upcoming 2019-20 Major Arena Soccer League 2 (MASL2) season. Tryouts will be held at ABQ Indoor Soccer located at 5110 B Copper Ave. Albuquerque, NM 87108.

The tryout is slated for Sunday, October 13th, 2019 starting at 12 pm MT with a check-in time of 11:00 am.

Interested athletes should register early online HERE. Early bird registration online is $30 and it will be $40 the day of at the door. If you have any questions regarding the tryouts, call the Runners office at 505-663-7786. Must be 18 years or older to participate.

Pro soccer hall of famer, Head Coach Steve Famiglietta will be overseeing the tryout along with his coaching staff to find some outstanding talent in our community.

"Going into our 2nd season, we now know what type of player will add to our roster of talented players. We have tons of local talent and I can't wait to add to add to it!" Said Famiglietta

The Runners open their second season this December and will play all home games at the Santa Ana Star Center arena in Rio Rancho. Season tickets are now on sale, starting as low as $73 for all home games and can be purchased HERE.

The schedule will be released by the league within the next week.
