New Signings Round Out Season 4 Roster

Austin Snyder & Zach Estell Sign with the Runners FOR 2022-23 SEASON

The New Mexico Runners have officially rounded out the initial roster for the 4th season with the signing of Austin Snyder and Zach Estell. Snyder will be positioned at the Midfield while Estell will Defend.

Austin Snyder hails from Grand Rapids, Michigan where he played and graduated from Davenport University (NAIA). Snyder has extensive soccer experience including playing in the Midwest Premier League, PASL, and most recently with the Grand Rapids Wanderers in the Major Arena Soccer League 3. 

Head Coach Famiglietta is hopeful and excited to bring on an experienced player who understands the dynamics of the arena soccer game. "Not everyone who plays outdoor soccer can grasp the concept of arena soccer, so it's exciting when we can recruit experienced arena soccer players from other parts of the country" says Famiglietta.

Zach Estell is an Albuquerque native who has a long history of playing soccer in the community. Estell played 2 seasons (2016-2018) with the defunct Albuquerque Sol in the PDL which is now called USL League Two as well as Classic FC as a youth. 

Both new signees will prove to be incredible assets to the New Mexico Runners squad.

The New Mexico Runners will kick off their fourth season on the road against the Kansas Bandits December 18th. The first home match will take place on Saturday January 7th, 2023 with a 2:05 PM kick-off at the Rio Rancho Events Center (3001 Civic Center Circle Dr. NW, Rio Rancho, NM 87144). Season tickets start at $80 and can be purchased online at newmexicorunners.com.
