New Mexico Runners Schedule & Division Released

Rio Rancho, N.M. (November 5, 2018) – The Major Arena Soccer League 2 (MASL2) will begin its second season this upcoming December and the 2018-19 schedule for the New Mexico Runners has now officially been released along with the division they will play in.

The MASL 2 was formed in 2017 and serves as the official developmental league of the Major Arena Soccer League. The MASL2 and MASL represent the highest level of arena soccer in the world and combined, feature 26 teams across North America.

This season, the MASL2 will consist of 3 divisions which include the Eastern, Pacific, and Mountain. The Runners will take part in the Mountain Division where 5 total teams reside including Colorado Inferno FC, Colorado Rumble, Ciudad Juarez Cuervos and Santa Fe Elite.

Each team will play 6 regular season games at home and 6 away, all within their own division. The MASL2 playoff format will be announced shortly after the Eastern and Pacific Division schedules are released later this week.

The Runners will kick off their season with an exciting pre-season exhibition matchup against the Colorado Inferno FC on Saturday December 1^st at 5:05 PM at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, NM. This will be the first time fans will be able to see their home arena soccer team in action.

Regular season play will follow up a week later at home against in state opponent Santa Fe Elite.

The Runners will play their first home game ever in a pre-season matchup against the Colorado Inferno FC. The exhibition matchup will take place on Saturday December 1^st, 2018 with a 5:05 PM kick-off at the Santa Ana Star Center (3001 Civic Center Circle Dr. NW, Rio Rancho, NM 87144). Tickets start at $10 and doors will open at 3:45 PM.
