Last Road Game Of Season

by Andres Trujillo

Rio Rancho, NM (March 15, 2019) – This Saturday's road game marks the final game of the 2019 inaugural season for the New Mexico Runners (4-7) as they face the Colorado Rumble (3-8) on March 16th for a makeup game kicking off at 7 PM MT in Denver.

The Runners look to end the season on a high note especially with the tragic news that a former player, Moises Guajardo, passed away earlier in the week.

This marks a special event for New Mexico because it will be the conclusion of one full season.

"It has be a mountain to climb in our inaugural season, especially because there were so many folks who doubted our ability to succeed and complete our first season. We're already working on season two!" Says President and CEO Andres Trujillo.

Forward Jaime Rodriguez leads the league in two categories including goals scored (36) and total points (45) while averaging 4.1 goals per game.

Playoffs in the league have been set as the Mountain Division will see the Ciudad Juarez Cuervos (10-2) and the Colorado Inferno (9-3) facing off in the first round down in El Paso, TX. The finals will take place in Ontario, California at the end of the month.

The Runners head to Denver Colorado for Saturday's road game with a kick off time of 7 PM MT. Fans can watch the live broadcast stream between the Runners and the Rumble on the Rumble Facebook page by clicking HERE
