Gabe Legendre Selected, Gatorade New Mexico HS Boys Soccer POY

(June 8, 2020) - The New Mexico Runners organization would like to congratulate one of their own, #2 Midfielder/Forward Gabe Legendre on being selected as the 2019-20 Gatorade New Mexico High School Boys Soccer Player of the Year. 

Legendre is a Sue Cleveland High School graduate and played for the New Mexico Runners on an amateur developmental contract during the 2019-20 Major Arena Soccer League 2 season. 

He finished his high school soccer career with a total of 89 goals and 30 assists. During his season with the Runners, he scored a total of 8 goals in only 6 games played. This is a testament to his talent and his future career in soccer. 

Legendre will begin his collegiate career in the fall of 2020 at Ft. Lewis College in Colorado.
