Fighting for First Win

Rio Rancho, NM (January 18, 2019) - The New Mexico Runners are in search for their first win as they look to equalize the score between the Santa Fe Elite as they head north to take on their in-state rival.

The match-up will take place on Saturday January 19th, 2019 at the Shellabeger Tennis Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico with a kick off time set for 6:00 PM. 

Forward "Chiva" Rodriguez continues to lead the Runners offense with 9 goals on the season as the focus this game is to maintain pace and communication.

This will be the first time Goalkeeper Casey Gasson will make an appearance after being ejected and suspended for 2 games due to a red card violation back on December 15th against the Elite.

New Mexico is 0-3 on the season and are fighting for their first win of the year. The Elite having played 6 games are 1-5 this season.

The Runners return home to the Santa Ana Star Center to face the Cuervos De Ciudad Juarez on Saturday January 26th at 5:00 PM MT.
