COMMUNITY: Rio at Movies in the Park

Rio Rancho, N.M. (June 15, 2019) - It's a Movies in the Park summertime event and the New Mexico Runners mascot "Rio" made a surprise appearance for the kids at the event!

Every other weekend in the summer, the City of Rio Rancho Parks and Rec department puts on a "Movies in the Park" event at various parks around Rio Rancho.

Rio came out to dance, race, and play soccer with the families of all in attendance. He even did the floss with Mayor of Rio Rancho, Gregg Hull.

Rio will make another appearance at the Hinkle Family Fun Center 25th Anniversary for their mascot "Cody" on Saturday June 22nd from 9-11 am.
