Runners' Own Aragon Wins State HS Soccer Title as Assistant Coach

New Mexico Runners' own midfielder Vince Aragon is an Assistant Coach on the St. Pius X Boys high school soccer varsity squad. This season was one for the history books as St. Pius completed their 2023 season with an overall record of 21-2 while dominating their district at 8-0. The Sartans are lead by Head Coach AJ Herrera and alongside are Assistant Coaches Vince Aragon and Jason Maestas. On Saturday November 11th, 2023, the St. Pius X Sartans defeated the Hope Christian Huskies 1-0 in the boys 4A state title match. It's been 25 years since St. Pius X won a varsity state soccer title and Assistant Coach and New Mexico Runners midfielder Vince Aragon is now a state champion as a high school coach. Congratulations to Vince and his boys for an excellent season!
